Vanessa Rodrigues Soul Project - A great debut CD with an amazing sound!

A whiz of the Hammond organ, Vanessa Rodriguez offers us a groovy first album with Soul Project. Well surrounded by Donna Grantis and Jean-Pierre Levesque, every track is upbeat and makes you want to move. The addition of turntable scratching by DJ Killa-Jewel on four tracks is a definite plus and just adds to the great funk of the whole album. A definite must for jazzy organ aficionados but also for jazz fans in general.
